BEHIND THE BREEZE

Chelsea is a talented artist with a passion for cinema and special effects makeup. She started her journey seven years ago at Cinema Makeup School, where she honed her skills and became a lead lab intern, inspiring future students while demonstrating life casts, mold making, and appliance running.

​

Chelsea spent years collaborating with renowned FX shops like Mastersfx, Morphology, and B2FX in departments such as fabrication, mold making, and also served as a full-time silicone runner for Out of Kit, showcasing her love for fabricating prosthetics.

​

During the pandemic when most shops had slowed down, she took her appliances on set to work on featured films on the east coast, rediscovering her love for being a part of the industry.

Back in California, she accepted positions at Fractured FX and Legacy FX in their casting departments. Chelsea's expertise in handling silicone and foam led her to become the Lead Silicone Runner at Creative Character Engineering in 2022. Her journey is a testament to her passion and dedication to the craft.
